Konichiwa from Japan! These are some of the seafood items for sale at the Fish Market. I don't think I will buy anything! This is octopus also known as calamari. We got up at 4:00 am to get to the market early to see the fish auctions. It was a very exciting time. I can't wait to tell you about it when I get home. I lots of pictures and a video of some of the auctioning.

What does the octopus taste like?Have you had any octopus?

I have had octopus. To me it tastes like rubbery onion rings. But other people just love it! You'll have to taste it sometime and decide for yourself. I think it is a personal taste thing. Thanks for asking Alex! Mrs. Greco
